Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Ranch Hand. As a Ranch Hand, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to farm and animal care. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to operate heavy equipment, perform heavy lifting, and have basic math skills. Responsibilities: - Assist with daily farm operations, including feeding and watering animals - Maintain cleanliness and organization of animal living areas - Perform basic animal husbandry tasks, such as grooming and administering medications - Operate and maintain farm machinery and power tools - Repair and maintain equipment as needed - Assist with planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops - Operate heavy equipment for tasks such as moving hay bales or clearing land - Perform general maintenance tasks around the ranch, including fencing repairs and building maintenance Requirements: - Previous experience working on a farm or with animals is preferred - Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently - Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) - Basic math skills for measuring feed quantities and calculating medication dosages - Knowledge of animal husbandry practices and principles - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
